NiHR i4i - Product Development Award - April 2025
In May 2025 we submitted the first stage application for a Product Development Award from NiHR.
This is the latest round of funding we have sought through this channel having been successfully awarded on the i4i Connect 7 and i4i Connect 8 programmes.
If successful we will be invited to stage 2 of the process with the final outcome known late this year.

Utilising the power of on demand HbA1c measurements, the SmartCare Diabetes Management App includes easy-to-use functions and features that help people with type-2 diabetes manage their condition more effectively.

The Meter and App concepts were tested by a broad-demographic group of people who live with type-2 diabetes at a workshop held by The Listening Lab.
They were exceptionally well received.
